Logistics centres typically have a very large area with low steady loads (storage area) and an office area with conventional loads corresponding to outside temperatures.

Heat emissions from the office cooling loads can be buffered into the geothermal field. During the winter season, this stored energy serves as a source for efficient heating of all areas.
